St. John's Cemetery Improvement Group.
Purchase a memorial bench in the St. John's Cemetery, Bench is $340, the cemetery crew will order, assemble and install. A memorial name plate (40 characters) will be supplied identifying the sponsor or family member. Contact John Monaghan at 705-693-5051 for more information.

Coniston Community Gardens.
You will notice 4 plots of raised beds and a shed have been placed in Centennial Park. A mix of vegetables and herbs have been planted and the food will be donated to the Coniston Food Bank. Thank you to our local contributors and to the students from Notre Dame de la Merci. For more information please contact Lindsay Fournier at 694-4462 or Kevin Rivard at 694-5188. Come out to prep the beds on May 5th from 9:30 - 11:30 am.

Trail Report - Rainbow Routes.
We are working with Rainbow Routes to create a walking trail within Coniston, from the schools to Caruso. 1.9 km. And new a development, a 5.9 km Snowshoe Trail (Daisy Lake Upland Snowshoe Trail). These initiatives will be branded as "Get Connected" to Coniston. Local organizations, please email us a letter of support/endorsement to myconiston@eastlink.ca for this project so we can speed up the process and get connected sooner than later! Thank you.
